The Second Mile Preschool mission is to provide an affordable, high quality education in a Christian environment where everyone feels respected, valued and loved. Every student accepted into the program receives a scholarship that greatly reduces the cost to attend, and parents can choose to volunteer at The Neighborhood Thrift Store to cover the expense.

The teachers, support staff and community volunteers are committed to preparing children for kindergarten by helping them strengthen their educational, social and emotional skills. They also work with parents to encourage them to support the learning process and provide ESL (English as a second language) instruction to meet the needs of Spanish-speaking students. The goal is to inspire a love of learning while having fun and developing academic and life skills.
