Second Mile seeks to reconcile the rich and poor by serving neighborhoods.
Second Mile strives to increase awareness and access to services and agencies that can help improve distressed communities through our Pride for Parents program and the Terry Heights and Hillendale Organization.
Terry Heights and Hillendale Organization a neighborhood association that builds relationships with residents and offers assistance where needed. Our mission is to work alongside our neighbors and help them fully utilize all available resources to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe neighborhood.
The Baby Care program provides relational support to young families and makes it possible for them to purchase needed items at affordable prices. It offers expectant mothers and new parents a safe, inviting place to shop for their infants and young children. The program’s mission is to serve the needs of new parents and promote the healthy development of young children from birth to age four.
The Neighborhood Thrift Store is a part of our Pride for Parents initiative, which provides opportunities for families to use the resources they have to get what they need while protecting their pride and dignity.
